– How to turn your project into a Regenerative Ecology site<\/strong>

What this implies:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 45 minutes call<\/span>: the first 30 minutes define the essential aspects of the project: the people involved, their skills and their objectives.<\/strong> The last 15 minutes of the call need to present the property.<\/p>\n

Also needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Knowledge about previous use of the land
– Relevant information such as what resources are available locally, if any businesses are located nearby, if restrictions apply to the area etc.<\/p>\n

Please keep in mind that Permaculture Design is a scientific method of creating a project based on:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– the natural potential of the site,
– your skills, knowledge and time availability.<\/p>\n

If any of these change, the project itself changes too. All proposals by the Designer are made within the framework of the information you\u2019ve provided, and all responsibility that derives from the evolution, change or mis-communicated data falls to the Client.<\/p>\n

The Project Assessment is provided within the timeline agreed bilaterally<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Project Design<\/strong> involves careful analysis and several scenario proposals, from which a final Design will be developed.<\/p>\n

After the visit included in the Project assessment, a second is one is scheduled for the presentation of the options moving forward. The number of proposals depends on the budget and complexity of the project.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In total three visits to the site are needed for the Design to reach a defined stage: the final one involves a visual presentation and technical documents.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You are also provided with references and a possible timeline for the implementation.<\/p>\n

Permaculture Design is equally about the interaction between elements, as it is about the elements themselves.<\/p>\n

Three options are possible.:<\/p>\n

1. The Designer<\/strong> (and optionally, other professionals) carries out the Implementation, under circumstances agreed upon before hand.<\/p>\n

2. You and the Designer<\/strong> are involved, according to a set schedule.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Go into action with your close ones ! Invite your friends (8 persons maximum, per meeting)<\/strong> to help you with the Implementation. In a Permablitz<\/a>,<\/strong> the Designer is coordinating the group of people to turn the project into reality.<\/p>\n

A Permablitz is an informal gathering lasting for a day during which a group of at least two people come together in order to:<\/p>\n

  • build community cohesion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The term\u00a0<\/span>permablitz<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>is a contraction of\u00a0<\/span>permaculture<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>blitz<\/em>, where blitz means a focused effort to get something done.<\/p>\n
