Introduction To permaculture
Price: 45 euros the day, 80 euros the weekend.
Program: 10 am- 1pm and 2 pm-5pm.
Location: 841 rue du 8 mai 1945, Craponne
1st Day
Saturday March 20th
Morning: 10 – 1 p.m.:
- a. Introduction to Permaculture or b. Questions and answers session, at the choice of the participants.
a – The introduction presents the philosophy of Permaculture, ethics and above all the directives to be applied in practice. Through concrete and local projects, we will see how Permaculture is integrated into the landscape and into society.
b – Starting with questions is a simple approach to ensure that every participant in this workshop becomes aware of the steps to take in learning or practicing Permaculture.
Whatever your level of knowledge, by answering questions, I aim to provide each person with solutions that are relevant to their specific situation, while providing a framework that encompasses all the knowledge brought into discussion.
The final hour is devoted to connecting ideas and examples to a larger view on the design, techniques, strategies and implementation of Permaculture.
Lunch: 1 – 2 p.m.:
- Shared lunch break (1 p.m. – 2 p.m.)
Possibility of guided tour of the garden (1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.)
Afternoon: 2 – 5 p.m. :
- Practice (seasonal)
- Design the vegetable garden for annual plants. What work to start with. (2 p.m. – 3 p.m.).
- Design a forest garden. Location, layout, choice of annual and perennial plants. (3 p.m. – 4 p.m.)
- Free exchanges / Application of Permaculture to the personal projects of the participants.
2nd Day
Sunday March 21st
Morning: 10 – 1 p.m. :
- The life of the soil, the decomposition of organic matter and fertilizers (10h – 12h)
- Quick compost and its use in the vegetable garden – practical (12h – 13h)
Lunch: 1 – 2 p.m.:
3. Shared lunch break (1 p.m. – 2 p.m.)
Possibility of guided tour of the garden (1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.)
Afternoon: 2 – 5 p.m. :
- Design methods applied to the site – theory and practice (2 p.m. – 3 p.m.)
- Human permaculture. A design that meets the needs of the people who are at the center of the projects (3 p.m. – 4 p.m.).
- Open discussions / Questions and answers / Possible practice depending on the weather (4 p.m. – 5 p.m.)

My Story
Permaculture Design involves a great deal of Humility, and I am blessed to share my love and knowledge of Natural Laws and Universal Patterns with clients and students alike.
Varied experiences in Performing Arts, Cultural environments and even Multinational companies, have allowed me to learn a great deal about managing projects and groups of people towards cohesion and results. My approach to teaching Permaculture is infused with the experience that stems from both success and failure.
